Additional Information
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
Responsibilities
- Minimum of 2000 hours of experience operating a 250+ excavator, 2000 hours on a D8+ dozer as well as 2000 hrs on 966/988 Front End Loader .
- Must be willing to complete ground work and able to lift 50lbs. Tailings/cell exp asset.
- Demonstrated experience in open pit mining, with a minimum of 2000 hours.
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: CSO or BSO (Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada or OSSA Basic Safety Orientation)
Requirements
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Able to train on new equipment when requested.
- Able to provide a clean 3-year drivers abstract with under 9 demerits.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
