Job Description
- Provide administrative support and assistance to the Precast Field Installation department with general operations and communications
- Administration of creating and distributing purchase orders, reviewing timesheets, material transfers, ordering, tracking, and distributing materials to the field
- Responsible for preparing and organizing precast drawings for the foreman
- Assist the Precast Field Superintendent with creating and distributing the weekly schedule
- Preparing correspondence, following up with clients and maintaining effective communication with individuals and groups inside and outside of the company
- Provide general and administrative support including but not limited to photocopying, filing, taking meeting minutes, ordering supplies and other duties as needed
- Assisting the Precast Field Superintendent with scheduling and coordination of precast grouters and patchers in the field
Requirements
- Proficient with computers and MS office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and multi-organize
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license
- Available to work Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Flexible and willing to work overtime if required
- Attend a 6:00am safety meeting once a month, typically the first Monday of the month
Assets
- Previous administrative experience in the construction industry
- Comfortable with general construction language and technical drawings
